About Colleen

Colleen is a fine art photographer and educator based in DC area. Her photographic interests include landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes and abstract subjects. When shooting the natural world she looks for endless skies and boundless horizons. She also enjoys cityscapes, particularly after a fresh snowfall when the city takes on magical qualities. She is drawn to clean simple lines and shapes, occasionally dabbles in abstraction, and always looks to emphasize natural light in her final compositions.

Colleen exhibits regionally and often receives favorable reviews. Her photographs are included in several private and corporate collections, including the art collection of The Federal Reserve Board in Washington, DC. She is actively involved in the local art/photo community and offers several courses in Photoshop, Image Transfers and the Book Arts.
